Autumn
Amidst poems and snippets
And spring and winter
Comes the fall with its cozy steps
Raw, real and bold
Surely, it’s about the gold
The pictures come out perfect
The moments- I don’t know
It seems beautiful at first
Unless I don’t lift that veil
We all carry a bit of autumn inside us
Where the fall resides fearlessly
Vulnerable yet beautiful
Scared yet scarred
Losing yet hoping
Seeing yet wishing
Holding on yet letting go
The leaves have turned gold
And if truth be told
They’re lovelier than the greens
Carrying all that they have learnt from summer, they’re everything but weak,
They are singing but not hoping
Swaying but not screaming
Wanting but not saying
And yea, Falling but not failing.
